Caressa: “Milan against Liverpool like Italy against Switzerland. Same feelings”

The famous journalist Fabio Caressa analyzed the problems of Milan on his ‘Youtube’ channel. After four days of the championship and one of the Champions League, the Portuguese coach Paulo Fonseca is already in the grill. “I was quite shocked by the Milan-Liverpool match, I heard my friend Pellegatti say that it was the worst Champions Cup match ever, I don’t know but I had a feeling: I had closed my commentary season with Italy-Switzerland, I reopened it with Milan-Liverpool and I saw some points of contact unfortunately for Milan fans”.

Then in another passage he added: “I saw a soft team without reaction, in my opinion something inside is not working, there is no respect between teammates, there is a lack of malice and help. I know that the situation inside is certainly not idyllic. In all this the coach enters without the trust of the environment, he had to prove himself right away, but he does not have that character Fonseca. Maybe he is too polite, I have seen incomprehensible things on the pitch”.

Finally, Caressa had his say on Rafael Leao’s performance: “He played another impalpable match without taking responsibility, really terrible. If you are a champion in the Champions League you have to take the team on your shoulders, you have to show up. There is a lack of coverage, they don’t help on the wings, there is a lack of an extra midfielder. Theo Hernandez is often alone and gets caught in the middle”.
