Calabria: “Good start but then we needed to do better. We’ll roll up our sleeves”

Milan captain Davide Calabria commented on this evening’s defeat at San Siro to the microphones of ‘Milan TV’. Against Liverpool, the Rossoneri lost 3-1 despite Pulisic’s early goal: “We had a good start, but then something was missing. We had to do better in everything and we could have done better. We started well and did what we had prepared, but then we made mistakes in the details. We had to get back into the game after the goals, but we didn’t manage to do it. It’s not an easy moment, we have to roll up our sleeves. A team like ours has to be more aggressive”.

Calabria then briefly commented on Torriani’s debutgoalkeeper born in 2005 who came on at the start of the second half after Maignan’s injury: “I’m happy for him, he’s a great worker. If he continues to work like this he’ll have a great future”.
