L’Arena: “Hellas fights with Lazio. One goal is not enough, KO at the Olimpico”

Setback for Verona. Paolo Zanetti’s team leaves the Olimpico in Rome with a defeat against Lazio in the match that closed the fourth day of the championship. Tengstedt’s goal, which had initially rebalanced the match, was of no avail. This is the headline on the front page of today’s edition of The Arena: “Hellas fights with Lazio. One goal is not enough, KO at the Olimpico”.

Zanetti’s comment
This is Paolo Zanetti’s analysis in the press conference: “We certainly aren’t discovering Lazio today, they are a strong team and it’s normal that when you face teams with different objectives there is different quality. We had the merit of always staying in the game, we had the character to get back into it and play as we had prepared. Lazio are very dynamic and you put yourself in difficulty in one-on-one, they made us suffer more than usual. They have great merit, as for the attitude I can’t say much to the lads. We could have done more on corners, we work a lot on that aspect. We took a lot of corners really badly, these are situations that change the results”.
