Il Messaggero: “Lazio, Taty-Dia goal. Winning formula and victory over Verona”

“Lazio, Taty-Dia goal. Winning formula and victory over Verona”. This is the headline in the top cut on the front page of today’s edition of the The Messenger. A narrow victory for Marco Baroni’s Lazio who beat Zanetti’s Hellas Verona 2-1 last night. At the Olimpico everything happened in the first 20 minutes. After five minutes of play Dia broke the deadlock but Tengstedt leveled the score before the decisive goal scored by Castellanos.

Baroni’s analysis
This is Marco Baroni’s comment at the final whistle: “The public wants to see a team that gives and wants to. I like that the team knows how to embody an emotional transfer. When you play these games you get closer to the result you want to achieve. The team had really empty pockets tonight, they spent everything. There are so many situations at this moment. We just started, we are coming out of moments in which it was not easy to work. The mental attitude is important, which is what makes the difference. The team trains hard and when you do that you often go strong on the pitch too”.
