At Ternana the possible sale of the club is the talk of the town these days, with two Luxembourg groups interested, with the Curva Nord having taken a clear position against the current owner Nicholas Guide contesting it during the last home game.
Also the mayor of Terni, and former owner of the red and green club, spoke about the matter Stephen Bandecchi took the floor before today’s city council meeting: “If in an honest and calm way Guida thinks as he is thinking of having finished a chapter and believes he has to sell the team, this can only be accepted in a positive way. – explains Bandecchi as reported Ternananews.it – It will definitely sell to people who have financial means and hopefully they are also into football.. Surely they are people who intend to acquire Ternana because the stadium/clinic project exists. And this is a great thing for Terni”.
The mayor also spoke about the stadium-clinic project: “I have everything I need to be more than reassured that things must go in a certain way. If you talk to me about football I don’t deal with football. If you talk to me about a stadium/clinic it’s our project. I want to know how it will go”.
