Paulo Fonsecacoach of the Milangave an interview to the club’s official channels to talk about tomorrow’s match against Liverpool: “Victory always brings confidence, mainly to the players. In these two days the concern has been to recover the players, we only had today to prepare a little for the match. I know that for this type of match everyone is very motivated because we are playing against a great team”.
What does Liverpool expect and, above all, how do you think they can hurt the Reds?
“It won’t be easy because they are a great team, one of the best in Europe at the moment. I think they obviously have weak points that we can hit, but they don’t give much away. We want to play our game, but we have to understand that we will have to do things at the right time and in a perfect way to win.”
What aspects of Liverpool’s play worry you the most?
“They are very strong offensively, they are very good at attacking the line when they recover the ball high up. We must not lose it in dangerous areas, making sure they don’t have the chance to counterattack, and instead we must be compact, have intensity and close spaces to defend as best as possible. As I said, to win you need almost perfection”.
