Taranto, Gautieri: “Stadium? I don’t know where we’ll play yet, we need clarity”

The Taranto coach Carmine Gautier he spoke at a press conference on the eve of the match against Trapani, this is an extract of his statements reported by mondorossoblu.it: “When you lose like on Saturday it’s normal for your mood to go down, it’s our job to work on the mistakes to improve. Tomorrow we face a team set up to win the championship. In order to fill the various gaps there is the need to focus on the attitude and the impact of the match.

We have the obligation to represent this glorious jersey to the fullest. You can lose but with your head held high. We have some interesting young players. Guarracino is coming off an important match as are Schirru and Fiorani. Many times you can count on them for playing time. You have to help them in difficult times, these young players are giving us a lot. In a place like this they need to be helped and waited for, we need to be good at making them grow. In Messina I had to adapt a player for the Under rule. When you have to put the three Unders it is normal that you have to adapt some players with the awareness that something is taken away from you. This must not be an alibi, for me a player must be able to do everything. In certain matches, however, we could do without the Unders”.

Guatieri also talks about the stadium issue
“The director is working very hard, I still don’t know where we’ll play. I always try to distance myself from certain situations. I hope that things will be clarified as soon as possible. We as a team need to be put in the best possible condition.”
