Venice, Antonelli: “Tessmann was much closer to Inter than Fiorentina”

What did Tessmann tell you this summer? This is one of the questions asked at the press conference Philip Antonellisports director of the Venice who today in a press conference commented on the transfer market of the lagoon club. This is his response: “I’m also happy for the club, there was a bit of fear about the fact that his contract was expiring. It’s true that he had expressed his desire to leave, at the same time it’s also true that he had never said that he would leave eventually when his contract expired”.
Did he aspire to a bigger company?
“Yes. We had immediately closed with Inter…”.
Even with Fiorentina?
“He was much further ahead with Inter.”

After many negotiations, Tessmann finally moved to Olympique Lyon for around six million euros: “It’s true that we wasted a lot of time selling him, but in the end we sold him for a good price”, Antonelli concluded, who in another passage then commented on the purchase of Yeboah from Raków Częstochowa: “He’s a player who has important characteristics in terms of speed and one-on-one. He can change the game and he’s a player we’re waiting for. He’ll need time, I saw that he also played yesterday for the national team. He’s a young guy who we hope can give us a hand”
