Two seasons at Porto, two more at Atletico Madrid, four at Monaco (at two different points in his career), one at Manchester United, one at Chelsea, two at Galatasaray and three at Rayo Vallecano. And now, after 15 years in European football, Radamel Falcao leaves the old continent at the age of 38 and returns to South America. This summer the striker returned to Colombia, signing for Millionarios FC, with whom he has already scored his first goal on the first day of the championship against Patriotas.
Falcao himself spoke about this new experience in an interview given to ESPNColombia: “All the matches I play here will be special because I have never played in Colombian clubs and visiting the stadiums or welcoming the teams will be very emotional. I will live this whole atmosphere to the fullest and enjoy this adventure in the best possible way.
Then with the passion that we Colombians have… All the teams have great fans and visiting their stadiums will be very exciting. My priority is to be a Millonarios, to do my best and, if things go well, maybe I will have more chances to return to the national team. I give everything every day, I do my best so that the results come and if things go well I could wear the national team shirt again”.
