France, Deschamps: “The whistles are not good for the team. Mbappé is not 100%”

Home win for France who win their first three points in the Nations League group stage. After the match won against Belgium 2-0, the French coach Didier Deschamps spoke to the microphones of TF1:

“I didn’t hear the boos. But you know, I’m not born with criticism, but it’s part of the game. It’s my responsibility, I’m immersed in everything that’s happening. It has no influence on me, but on the players, on the environment. When we arrive, we support the French national team, so the boos… those people are unhappy, disappointed. Let them show it, why not, but when the players are on the pitch… I don’t think it’s for the good of the French team.

Mbappé? Kylian is fine. Obviously, like almost all players, he is not yet 100%. His difficult period? Knowing his standards in this field, Kylian will score goals. Maybe we focused a little too much on him. It doesn’t happen by snapping your fingers. But I repeat, with him, France will always be stronger. I am convinced that in a month he will be better. There are very high demands at his club. With us, he fully assumes the role of captain, even when he is not playing. I have no worries with Kylian”.
