“It’s the base to start from. Many have played in the European Championship. Ricci did well, we were missing Tonali. It was a breath of experience and motivation”.
And the B mister?
“At the moment, this is what Serie B usually is. Always unpredictable and difficult. The big teams have started to lose a few points along the way. The newly promoted teams have started well and it is confirmation that those who do well in C can then be protagonists in B. Those who are considered favorites still have to find the right pace”.
How does the Serie C championship look like?
“In Group A there are three-four teams: Triestina, Vicenza, Padova and Feralpi with the first two further ahead. I don’t think there will be any surprises like Mantova did last year. Group B is very balanced. Ascoli and Ternana are well-known teams, with Perugia, Spal, Entella and Pescara who can give us a hard time. In Group C I saw a good Catania win against Benevento, together with Avellino and Trapani they are among the favourites. But Picerno also made a great impression on me, they could be a revelation”.

“I’m full of enthusiasm and motivation. In C I won four times at the first attempt and a fifth time I was taken away the opportunity to play it. I hope that someone from a higher category will also remember, in B I played several times and I think with good results. But I’ve never made it a question of categories”.
