Perugia changes hands: 100% of shares transferred from Santopadre to Faroni

A new era begins for the Griffin. Javier Faroni, an entrepreneur of Argentine origin, is the new president and shareholder of theAC Perugia Football Club. The closing took place today at Studio Associato Biavati in Perugia, with the transfer of 100% of the shares from Massimiliano Santopadre, former president.

The company’s sports management will remain unchanged, thus ensuring continuity in the technical and operational management of the team, but the new ownership has already outlined its objectives: to strengthen the team to lead it towards increasingly ambitious goals, consolidating its position in the Italian football scene.

The strengthening strategy will also involve the arrival of high-quality and experienced Argentine professionals.

With the new ownership, the conditions could also be created for the arrival of some talented Argentine players.

The technical contribution of these experts from Argentina, known for their competence and passion, is part of a strategy aimed at uniting international expertise with the sporting identity of Perugia, in order to create an even more competitive team, projected towards success.

Assisting Faroni, who took over the team with the Perugia Futbol vehicle, were the Chiomenti Law Firm with Partner Antonio Sascaro and the consultants from PwC who followed the due diligence aspects with Partner Federico Mussi.

Faroni’s arrival coincides with the eve of the next championship match, where the red and whites will face Carpi away. Javier Faroni will be in the stands to observe his team, demonstrating his immediate involvement in the management of the club.
