The battle continues Paul Pogba. The French midfielder is disqualified for doping. Last December 7th the Prosecutor’s Office requested a four-year ban for the Juventus player and on March 1st the National Court accepted the proposed sentence. Paul, however, did not give up and continued the process by appealing to the TAS. With this sanction, the player cannot not only play official matches but cannot even train in the club’s facilities while receiving the minimum salary provided for by the collective agreement.
Pogba goes to testify in Lausanne
These days, today’s edition of the Sports Gazettethe player went to Lausanne to testify and give his version of the facts. It all started on August 20th of a year ago when, after the match against Udinese, he was drawn for anti-doping at the end of a match in which he had spent the entire match on the bench. The 31-year-old was also found positive in the counter-analysis, triggering the disqualification.

Now Pogba and Juventus are waiting for the CAS’s response. If the sentence is confirmed then a divorce between the parties should be inevitable. The decision and the final word on this story should arrive soon.
