A resounding success for Italy Under 21who got rid of their peers from San Marino with a 7-0 in the qualifying match for the European Championships in their category. The star of the match was Francesco Pio Esposito, a striker on loan to Spezia from Inter. Also on target were Bove from Fiorentina and Raimondo, a young striker who Bologna sent on loan to Venezia to develop.
