Juve Stabia, the “twelfth man” factor returns: Palermo will be played at the ‘Menti’

Good news for all the fans of the Juve Stabia: starting from the next home match against Palermo scheduled immediately after the break, the Campania Wasps will be able to return to play in their own stadium, the ‘Romeo Menti’.

The Mayor of the city Luigi Vicinanza announced it on social media: “Juve Stabia will return to play at the Romeo Menti stadium in Castellammare already on the occasion of the match with Palermo on September 14th. The news that we were all waiting for is now official. Today the Provincial Commission for public entertainment has given the green light! Allow me to thank all those who have worked tirelessly to achieve this goal. Now the fans will finally be able to support their team in our stadium”.

The stadium issue risked becoming an endless quarrel between the club and the municipal administration, Juve Stabia itself had been penalized by the obligation to play in Piacenza, on a neutral field and with few – but very warm – fans following. The ultras groups had announced their indefinite desertion as a sign of protest, but now everything will return to normal and the Campanians will be able to count on the fundamental contribution of the twelfth man in a stadium that can give the right push to Pagliuca’s boys.
