Cuoghi: “Milan is a great team, but it seems like everyone is thinking about themselves”

At the microphones of TMW Radio during Maracanà, the technician intervened Stefano Cuoghi to talk about Milan’s difficult start to the season:

Is there any apprehension in this start? The Leao-Hernandez case?
“It can happen but it must not happen, at least not on such a blatant level. Milan started badly, they have very strong players but everyone needs to run for the other. It seems to me that on the pitch everyone thinks of themselves. Milan is an excellent team, we need to see to what extent the coach will be able to impose his ideas and the players will listen to him”.

Why can’t we see a fighting attitude at Milan?
“I think sometimes teams are made in a certain way, evidently at Milan for now there is something wrong, not in terms of quality but in the dressing room. Not against Fonseca, but for something pre-existing. And there is a lack of leadership, which is something that one has. I don’t think it is a technical-tactical problem now”.
