Bordeaux, Yambèré’s return: the central defender signs for one season

A welcome return to Bordeaux. The Girondin team has in fact announced the signing of Cedric Yambere. This is the official statement: “Cédric Yambéré is back with Bordeaux! The central defender has signed for the season with the Blue Navy. Born on November 6, 1990 in Bordeaux, Cédric Yambéré began playing football in the region, passing through Yvrac, Cenon, Stade Bordelais and then Lormont.

It was in this club, then in CFA 2 (formerly known as National 3) that he revealed himself. He arrived at Bordeaux in January 2013. He initially played in the reserves, but seized the opportunity when Willy Sagnol called him up to the professional group. His performances allowed him to sign his first professional contract. His first goal, all the fans of the time remember. He scored it during the last Bordeaux-Marseille at the Stade Chaban-Delmas and gave the victory to Marine et Blanc (1-0).

Cédric confirmed the following season and left Bordeaux in July 2016 for Anzhi Makhatchkala after playing 57 games (4 goals). Since 2016, Cédric has had several experiences abroad, interspersed with returns to France. After Russia, he played successively at APOEL Nicosia (Cyprus), Dijon FCO, Al-Etiffaq (Saudi Arabia), Molenbeek (Belgium), US Orléans, PAE Chania (Greece), Doxa Katokopias (Cyprus) and KÍ Klaksvík (Faroe Islands).
