Saldanha from Partizan to Ferencvaros. The former Genoa target has signed a 4-year deal

The transfer to Hoffenheim fell through in the final hours of the summer transfer market, the striker Matheus Saldanha – who had also been sought by Genoa in Serie A – he settled in Ferencvaros: the ’99 class has signed a four-year contract. For Partizan a transfer of 5 million euros.

His numbers with Partizan Belgrade
In the 2023-24 Serbian Superliga season, Saldanha made 27 appearances and scored 17 goals, proving to be a prolific striker and showing great qualities also in terms of temperament. He also appeared in three domestic cup matches without finding the net. On the continental level, he took part in four matches in the UEFA Conference League, scoring one goal. In the 2024-2025 season, he has already started with 6 appearances in total, scoring 3 goals, including 2 in UEFA Champions League matches. This brings his total goals for Partizan to 21 in 40 matches.

Hoffenheim’s Bundesliga performance
In the 2023-24 season, Hoffenheim finished the Bundesliga in 7th place. The team had a fairly consistent run and with 46 points they secured access to the 2024-25 Europa League.
