Milan, today the delivery of the Uefa list. Out a senior, out Jimenez and Vos

The rosters of the 36 teams participating in the League Phase of the Champions League 2024-2025 must be communicated by midnight today, Tuesday 3 September. Among these there is, obviously, also Milan, who will begin their European season by hosting the new Liverpool of Arne Slot and Federico Chiesa at San Siro.

Who will be there?
The maximum limit for List A is 25 players, but Milan will include fewer; there is an additional limit, in fact, which is 17 foreign players, to which must then be added the ones trained in the club’s youth system and in the Italian youth system. The 17 foreigners are all there: Maignan, Royal, Tomori, Pavlovic, Theo, Thiaw, Reijnders, Fofana, Bennacer, Musah, Loftus-Cheek, Leao, Pulisic, Chukwueze, Okafor, Morata and Abraham. The two over-21 players produced by the club’s youth system Calabria and Gabbia and the other Italian youth systems, namely Sportiello, Florenzi and Terracciano, have been included.

Who won’t be there?
The list mentioned above does not include Luka Jovic, who is the big suspect among the foreigners over 21 to remain out of the list. Those eligible for the Champions League can be filled by drawing on list B (updated before each match), which, as far as Milan is concerned, will include the talents Camarda, Zeroli, Liberali and Bartesaghi; out are both Jimenez and Vos, under 21 yes, but who have not played for two years in Milan and, consequently, cannot be included in list B.
