Milan, Abraham: “Roma is important, but in life there are times when you have to move up a level”

During his presentation press conference as the new striker of the Milan, Tammy Abraham he also dwelt on the feeling with Leao, among other things, but not only: “Leao? There’s quite a funny story behind it. We decided before coming on (against Lazio) what to do together, we came on and did what we wanted to do”.

All in a short time: arrival, debut and assist.
“I grew up with Milan. I think they are an excellent team. I am often asked how I want to play. I am always ready to face new challenges. I hope to have good results, to have a positive impact, we have the wind in our sails”.

Did you want to leave Rome?
“No. It’s not that I’ve lost faith at all, but the fans know how important Roma is to me. But sometimes in life there are cases in which you have to raise the level, set the bar higher, and I thought this was the right opportunity. I wish Roma the best, but now I’m focused on Milan.”

You come from two difficult years…
“The first year went very well with Roma, then the second was more difficult. The players are human beings and the injury dragged me down for a while, but this at Milan is my great opportunity to show that I’m back. My ambition is always to win.”

What are your goals?
“I’m 27 years old and I have a lot of choices to make. I want to score goals, many expect aerial play from me.”
