Ibrahimovic absent in Rome? Furlani: “I, Moncada and the owner were there anyway”

During his presentation press conference as the new striker of the Milan, Tammy Abraham he also dwelt on the feeling with Leao, among other things, but not only: “Leao? There’s quite a funny story behind it. We decided before coming on (against Lazio) what to do together, we came on and did what we wanted to do”.

Also present alongside the new Rossoneri striker was the CEO of Milan, George Furlanwho among other things focused on the market but not only: “The enthusiasm with which Tammy arrived was very important. All the purchases strongly wanted Milan, they want to be part of this project and for this we thank them”.

How do you judge Milan’s summer market?
“We did what we wanted to do from the beginning. We are satisfied.”

Why did you renew Jovic and then take another striker in addition to Morata?
“We have three competitions plus the Super Cup. There are a lot of games, so it makes sense for us to have three strikers.”

How do you rate Fonseca?
“We would have preferred to get 9 points in the first three games, but there is no panic whatsoever, but I would avoid talking about very important games. We are satisfied with the work done by the coach in preparation, we support him and the team is also with him”.

What do you think about Ibrahimovic’s absence? He wasn’t in Rome?
“Zlatan had made a commitment a long time ago, even before arriving at Milan. Announce it before? I don’t think we need to announce every move. There was me, Moncada and also the owner.”

How do you judge the Theo Hernandez-Leao case?
“There has been a lot of talk about it, too much in fact. We in the management and the players themselves were surprised by the reaction there was. It’s a non-event for us.”
