Bologna, the break to rework everything. Then “the final” in Como

Four days of rest for Mister Italiano’s Bologna, who will have a chance to catch their breath and process the match after the match against Empoli. In the week leading up to the international break, in fact, the coach has granted his players a few days of rest with the aim of lightening the workload and perhaps also a morale conditioned by the latest performances. Upon returning, however, Italiano wants to work carefully, because only in this way does he think he can get out of a stalemate that has forced Bologna to the lower reaches of a still too provisional ranking.

Time could be a friend to the Felsinei towards a better structured game and assimilated by its protagonists. We will therefore start again this week in Casteldebole where, however, 10 players called up by their national teams will be missing. Italiano’s staff will in fact have to do without Skorupski, Urbanski, Lucumì, Posch, Aebischer, freuler, Iling-Junior, Fabbian in addition to Ilic and Byar. Despite the numerous absentees busy with the minor and major teams, the group will follow the instructions of the coach who will lead the preparation for the match against Como. The application and concentration of the squad, which Italiano himself mentioned, could facilitate a process that does not seem to have taken off yet. The next stage? The challenge with Como which will be “like a final”, Miranda swore in the post-match of Bologna-Empoli… and so we await that “garra” that up until now has only been seen in glimpses.
