Udinese report cards – Ehizibue is unstoppable, Bijol an insurmountable wall

UDINESE-COMO 1-0
(43′ Brenner)

Okye 6 – He is not called to make any particular interventions in the first half, in the second half he responds present when Como approaches his area. Cutrone’s lack of precision from the spot helps him to keep the goal intact.

Kabasele 6 – He holds his position well, giving little to the two opposing attackers in his area. He assists Ehizibue on Moreno’s runs (From 83′ Kristensen sv).

Bijol 6.5 – A defensive bulwark, he leads the three-man line and shows his physique in the body-to-body duels with Belotti. Another sumptuous performance, as in the first two matchdays.

Giannetti 6.5 – Like his two teammates, he also holds his own against the opposing strikers’ attacks. He is also elegant when it comes to setting up the action.

Ehizibue 7.5 – A real train on the right side of the field, at least three counterattacks in the first half that create no small problems for the Como defense. And from his feet comes the action of 1-0. He confirms himself in the second half and also saves on the header from Kempf. Best on the field.

Lovric 7 – He provides substance and balance in the central sector of the pitch, he is the coach on the pitch and feels safe on the command deck (From 79′ Payero sv).

Charles Strom 6 – When he can, he comes off the midfield to try to help out in the three-quarter line, but he’s a bit cumbersome. He has a great chance, but he wastes it: luckily for him, he was offside. In the second half, he battles for every ball.

Zemura 6 – In the first half with Iovine he has his work cut out for him, both in defense and offense. He duels on equal terms, but when he accelerates he breaks the mold and in the second half he is more proactive.

Thauvin 6 – He has a quality and a vision of the game superior not only to many of his teammates, but also to many attacking midfielders in Serie A. He sees gaps everywhere, he is the needle on the Juventus balance. He drops a bit in the second half (From 70′ Bravo 6 – He enters with a desire to do well, gives Davis a splendid ball, but his shot doesn’t sting).

Burner 6.5 – A masterpiece goal, the ball takes a trajectory that also sends Reina off course between the posts. Up until that point, however, a few too many balls were lost (From 70′ Ekkelenkamp 6 – Like Bravo, he also made his mark with energy at the end of the race).

Lucca 5.5 – He fights and jostles with the opposing defenders. Dossena, in particular, neutralizes him for long stretches of the game. But he sacrifices himself and is called to do dirty work. In the second half he disappears from the field (From 70′ Davis 5.5 – He fails to get the team going and even has a chance to strike on the turn, without success).

Kosta Runjaic 7 – His team has a frightening defensive solidity, has clear ideas when it has to play vertically and manages to exploit the width, unleashing high speed on the wings. The stamp of the coach who arrived in the summer is noticeable on the group. And even the eventual equalizer in the final minutes on an unfortunate deflection of the hand in the area would not have changed the judgment.
