Cremonese, Johnsen doesn’t want to stop: “We are strong, we aim for first place”

Yesterday the challenge between Cremonese And Sassuolo played at the Mapei Stadium and ended 4 to 1 for the grigiorossi. At the end of the match, the Stroppa striker, Dennis Johnsenspoke at a press conference about the match won. Here are his words.

Two assists and a goal, you couldn’t have started the championship better. How did you find yourself with Nasti?
“Yes, it was really the perfect start for me and I’m very happy for the team. I played with Marco for the first time, but he’s very good and I already knew how he played. I think we all played a good game today.”

Does today’s victory send a message to the championship?
“Starting the championship is always difficult after losing a final, but the victory is very important and comes after a game played well. Against Palermo we only lacked the final step, while today we managed to assert ourselves from the start. It certainly represents an important step to face the break for the national teams”.

Sassuolo is one of the favorites for the top spots in the standings. Do you think today’s victory makes you feel even stronger?
“Yes, but I know that the team is strong and can aim for the top. Serie B is always difficult, but playing like today we will certainly have great opportunities”.

Since you’ve been in Cremona you’ve played in multiple roles. Where do you think you can be more effective?
“I don’t think too much about the role, if I’m free on the pitch I can go deep regardless of where I play. But if I really had to choose, then I would say second striker.”

How much does it matter to have someone like Vazquez by your side?
“We’re talking about a player with an incredible foot, when he has the ball I know I can go deep without even looking.”

What did you work on this week to be ready?
“We have a very strong team, with many quality players. The important thing is to work to always be ready.”
