Benevento coach Gaetano Auteri spoke at a press conference on the eve of the match against Catania. Here are his words reported by CalcioBenevento.it: “Transfer market? The transfer market is over, fortunately, it always creates distortions. They are on a journey, we have the same journey as them but we have chosen slightly different methods, also because the average age is lower. We will play in front of a large crowd, some are more used to it than others but in the end the comparison will be played on the pitch”.
Returning to the market then, Auteri asks for time: “After the market, they need time to find the right mix, they had it because the new players have been training with them for several days. They are structured, experienced, strong, but I find it difficult to make analyses that belong to the theoretical sphere, I prefer the pitch. I have positive impressions, we have a lot of quality, we will have to demonstrate that we are strong and competitive and we will do it. They are tests, but the impression I have is positive, we have quality, we are focused on the match and we will do everything necessary for an important performance”.
