13.15 – The first protagonist of the draw is the former Athletic Club centre forward, Aritz Aduriztwo-time top scorer in the Europa League and ambassador for this season’s final, scheduled in Bilbao. The other is the former Atalanta player Glenn Stromberg, UEFA Cup winner with IFK Göteborg in 1982. It will be up to the two of them to draw the balls for the draw.

The 36 participating teams are divided into four pots based on the individual coefficient of their respective clubs. Each of them will be drawn against eight opponents (two from each pot, with four home games and four away games). They cannot face teams from the same country and can be drawn against a maximum of two teams from the same federation.
