Karsdorp is no longer a Roma player: the Dutchman has terminated his contract

Rick Karsdorp he is no longer a footballer Rome. The Giallorossi full-back has in fact interrupted his working relationship with the Capital club and is now a free agent, free for another adventure. Below is the full press release:

“AS Roma announces that it has reached an agreement for the consensual termination of the contract with the player Rick Karsdorp. Having arrived at the Giallorossi in the summer of 2017, the player has made 157 appearances for the club, contributing to the club winning the Conference League in 2022. The Club thanks Rick for his contribution and dedication to AS Roma and wishes him and his family the best of luck in their next destination.”

The Dutch footballer released a short comment on the club’s official website to comment on the news of his farewell: “I want to thank the Roma fans for these intense seasons, I have always given my all and my two children were born in this city. This makes me very proud. Goodbye Rome!”.

Karsdorp boasts 4 trophies in his career: a Dutch Under 19 championship won with Feyenoord/Excelsior, an Eredivisie won in 2016 – 2017 with Feyenoord, a Dutch Cup, lifted in 2015 – 2016, again with the Rotterdam team, and finally a Conference League, which he had the satisfaction of winning in 2021 – 2022 with Roma.
