Capello: “Inter can go all the way in the Champions League, watch out for Juve too”

The start of the new Champions League is getting closer and closer, as the draw for the first phase of the tournament will be made today at 18:00. Fabio Capello, the coach who won the most important club tournament in Europe as a coach, gave an interview to La Gazzetta dello Sport, also focusing on the potential of the five Italian teams: “Inter have the potential to be competitive on all fronts: for their large squad but above all for their mentality. Inter have the potential to go all the way. I didn’t expect Juventus to be so far ahead, Juventus is an open construction site but if the team continues to grow, everyone must be careful, even in Europe”.

Capello then continued, also focusing on Milan, Atalanta and Bologna: “There are games in which team spirit and the desire to fight are fundamental: these things have not yet appeared in Milan. Atalanta wants to be a protagonist and has the means to be so, there is nothing to discover. Bologna? I see them behind, you can’t expect too much more”.
