Of great and proven black and white faith, the famous writer Sandro Veronesi was interviewed by The Sports Gazette today and during the chat with the Rosea he had his say on various aspects of Juventus.
Veronesi makes his debut: “Juve must exploit the novelty effect to try to gain an advantage over their pursuers. The Bianconeri go onto the pitch knowing what to do, they know their opponents little and for a while they will struggle to find countermeasures. But I don’t think Inter are satisfied, the fight will be with them. Even if I expect insertions, like from Conte’s Napoli”. Then Veronesi focuses on the new commander Motta: “I see in him Lippi’s attitude to command. He transmits security at the helm, just like Marcello. He takes responsibility, is frank and doesn’t look anyone in the face”.
It is impossible not to touch on market issueslike the arrival of Koopmeiners: “Great move, he’s a champion. One of those midfielders who can do everything, like Boban. The cherry on top of Giuntoli, he can shift the balance”. And how would you see Sancho? “I’d prefer Berardi, or we’d be doing Manchester United a favor. And then he’d be one of the highest paid in the squad…”. A few words also on the Chiesa case: “If he were to remain attached to Juventus, it would be a defeat for everyone”.
