The Fiorentina defender, Lucas Martinez Fourthon the eve of the challenge against Puskas Akademia in the second leg of the preliminary round of the Conference League, spoke to the microphones of Sky Sportsgiving his opinion on how to face the challenge of getting the pass to the competition, with the two teams starting from the 3-3 of the first leg: “We got the approach to the first leg wrong but we never underestimate our opponents. The approach and the attitude were not right, tomorrow we will try not to make the same mistakes as in the first leg”.
You’ve changed a lot, did you expect these difficulties at the beginning of the season?
“The change has been huge and all the teams that have changed coach and formation have struggled and are struggling. We are calm and we are working hard to assimilate the concepts of the coach. The important thing is that we did not lose in the first leg, we are calm and positive. Sooner or later we will do much better”.
What are the differences between Italian and Palladino?
“We went from playing with four to playing with three and this changes a lot. We weren’t used to playing like this and it takes time. We mustn’t worry and we must commit ourselves, to understand what the coach wants. I always want to move forward and help the team also in attack, to be an extra weapon”.
