It is with the official note that we report below, that the Catania “announces that it has definitively acquired from Casertana FC the rights to the sporting performances of the footballer Adriano Montalto, who has signed a two-year contract binding himself to our company until 30 June 2026.
Last season, spent with the Campania team, the striker scored 12 goals and provided 4 assists in 26 games played.
In 2022/23, Montalto contributed to Reggiana’s direct promotion to Serie B, scoring 9 goals in 22 games.
Born in Erice (Trapani) on 6 April 1988, he completed his footballing career in Messina and subsequently had his first experiences in C2 with Scafatese and in the third division with Salernitana and Siracusa, later making his debut in B with Ascoli.
After a stint with Latina, promoted to the second division and winner of the Coppa Italia Serie C in 2012/13, the years with Grosseto and Martinafranca. Trapani, Juve Stabia, Ternana (scoring 20 times in 34 games in 2017/18 in B), Cremonese, Venezia, Bari and Reggina were the further stages in his career.
