Atalanta, Zaniolo in doubt for Inter: adductor strain. Lookman in the group

Good and bad news for Gian Piero Gasperini ahead of the match against Inter scheduled for Friday at San Siro. According to what was gathered by the editorial staff of TMW, Ademola Lookman has in fact started training again with the rest of the group and will therefore be available to the coach for the match against the Italian champions. One player who might not be there is Nicolò Zaniolo who today underwent therapy due to a muscle strain in his left adductor. The feeling is that the Nerazzurri number 10 could be called up, but the certainty will arrive tomorrow. Problems also for Hien, due to a flu syndrome that forced him to rest.

Individual work on the field instead for both Sead Kolasinac and Mitchel Bakker, while Ibrahim Sulemana did a separate session in the pool. Giorgio Scavini and Gianluca Scamacca instead continued their respective recovery paths after the bad knee injuries by undergoing therapies.

Atalanta’s statement after today’s training session.
“Preparation for Friday night’s match against Inter for the 3rd matchday of Serie A Enilive 2024/25 continues at the Bortolotti Centre. A double training session was scheduled today. Tomorrow, Thursday 29 August, the team will train in the afternoon, again at the Bortolotti Centre and behind closed doors”.
