Another exit for Juventus: Mattia De Sciglio goes to Empoli, agreement reached

Juventus is about to complete another outgoing operation. Agreement reached between the black and white club and Empoli for the transfer of Mattia De Sciglio to the club of president Corsi. At the black and white club since the summer of 2017, the footballer born in ’92 who had another year of contract will leave Juventus for free.

Today Cristiano Giuntoli also finalized the transfer of Federico Chiesa, a footballer born in ’97 who is moving to Liverpool for fifteen million euros including bonuses. “I am very happy and ready for this new adventure, I want to send a greeting to the Juventus fans”, said Chiesa before boarding from Turin’s Caselle airport. “Thank you for the affection, for these years, I will truly carry them in my heart. Thanks to Juventus”, Chiesa then added in another passage. “Are you sorry to leave Juventus like this? Sorry, but I am happy for this new adventure, really. My family and I can’t wait”.

Meanwhile, the black and white club welcomed today the Dutch midfielder Teun Koopmeiners, a player who arrives from Atalanta for 52 million euros plus bonuses. Yesterday, instead, was the day of the announcement of Francisco Conceicao, an attacking winger who arrived from Porto. This is the press release: “Juventus Football Club SpA announces that it has reached an agreement with FC Porto for the temporary acquisition, until 30 June 2025, of the rights to the sporting performances of the footballer Francisco Fernandes de Conceicao for a fee of €7 million; this fee may be increased, during the duration of the sports performance contract with the footballer, by an amount not exceeding €3 million, upon achievement of certain sporting objectives”.
