Ancelotti sends me. Nico Paz to Como: the only goal among the professionals against an Italian

Como is increasingly speaking Spanish. The Larian club, thanks also to the knowledge of mister Cesc Fabregas, is about to make two more big purchases: Sergi Roberto, fresh from his farewell to Barcelona – who decided not to renew the contract of the full-back and former captain – and Nicolás Paz Martinez, known as Nico Pazforced to leave Real Madrid on loan because he was closed off by the many stars available to Carlo Ancelotti in the attacking department.

The profile of the Argentine attacking midfielder born in 2004 is certainly interesting and very intriguing. In Italy he is already known for a simple reason: he scored his first goal among professionals last November 29th in the Champions League group stage match against Napoli, won 4-2 by Whites. Ancelotti said of him: “Nico is very talented and very young. He seems like a first-team player, but we don’t want to put pressure on him because he has to improve. He has the qualities to play for Real Madrid in the future.”

Twenty years old in September, Paz has played eight games in the Real Madrid first team (4 in the league, 3 in the Champions League and 1 in the Copa del Rey) and the one against the Neapolitans is his only flash so far, also because he has put together just over 130 minutes. Left foot, excellent physical structure, he is the son of the former Argentine footballer Pablo Paz and arrived at the most successful club in the world when he was 12 years old. A player of great talent, who will be able to lend a hand to a team that wants to carve out an important place for itself in the 2024/25 Serie A.
