After ‘Lord of the Rings’, Burnley Take Fans to Narnia: Lucy Finds Worrall in Attic

After introducing Bashir Humphreys in a “singular” way, resuming a famous scene from the second chapter of the trilogy “The Lord of the Rings”Burnley have decided to repeat themselves with Joe Worrall.

The central defender, who arrived yesterday on a permanent basis from Nottingham Forest (a 4-year contract), has in fact become the protagonist of another famous fantasy film, namely “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe”, a cinematic adaptation of the children’s literature novel written by CS Lewis. The film is set in England, in London, and experiences the crucial moment when little Lucy Pevensie (one of the four protagonists) finds a wardrobe in the attic of the house where she was hosted to escape the German bombings during the Second World War. The wardrobe will lead the little girl into the enchanted world of Narnia, but in the Burnley clip in its place appears… Worrall, in a play on assonances with the English “Wardrobe”. Needless to say, the fun publication was much appreciated by the fans of the Clarets and not only that, they now ask the club for new purchases just to enjoy others
