Aside from the new faces that are strengthening the squad available to Mister Antonio Calabro, Carrarese is also moving on renewals of those who allowed the historic promotion to Serie B of the Apuan team, which arrived in the playoff final at the ‘Dei Marmi’ against Vicenza. Among the absolute protagonists, the match winner of the confrontation, striker Mattia Finotto, who has extended his contract with the Tuscan club on a two-year basis (new deadline therefore set for June 30, 2026)
On the club’s official channels, these are his words after signing: “First of all, I would like to thank the club for the trust and support that, since I arrived, has never failed me in any way. The historic promotion achieved last year has created a magical relationship with my teammates, the coach and the entire city of Carrara; therefore, I am very happy with this contract renewal. Despite the many market rumours that took my departure for granted, my will has always been to continue here, especially after last year’s success, for me it is a source of pride to be able to fight with this shirt, even in Serie B. I know this category, a difficult season awaits us, but we have the objective of maintaining what we have achieved and we are ready to fight on every pitch we play on. A special greeting to the Azzurri fans: I can’t wait to see you rejoice again, together with us”.
