Milan, Fonseca: “We are here to win the Scudetto. Inter are the team to beat? It’s clear”

The new Milan coach, Paulo Fonsecain his press conference on the eve of the match against Torino that will open the Rossoneri’s championship, also spoke about his team’s objective this season in Serie A: “It’s too early to say whether it’s the strongest group I’ve ever coached, but it’s very strong. I won’t change what I said at the first conference: we’re here to win. Every day that passes I have more faith in this. I have no other way of seeing things: we’re here to fight for the Scudetto”.

Which row does Milan start from?
“There has been a big change, our way of thinking and playing matches is different. I don’t want to say that we will start from first place, but we are close to first place to start this match.”

Inter team to beat?
“It’s clear to everyone: they clearly won the Scudetto last year. Then there are many teams that have the same objective as us. Even Napoli and Atalanta, Juventus can fight. We believe and want that we can stay in the fight with Inter. They are strong, they confirmed the same players and the same coach, it’s a very strong team. Then we believe a lot in our ambitions”.
