At Taranto the situation is more confusing than ever with on one hand the rumours of a sale of the club denied by an official note and on the other the affair linked to Eziolino Capuano which should end in the next few days with the dismissal of the coach after yet another medical certificate sent to the club for not showing up for training.
The Ionian club is therefore working for the future, with a list of profiles under consideration. First of all, there was talk of Walter Novellinothen the hypothesis of confirming the interim coach was also put forward Michael Cazzaroand finally, as we reported this morning, also the profile of Leonardo Menichiniwho shared the seasons at Monterosi with Lucchesi. Finally, an unexpected name emerged like that of Alberto Cavasin who is in negotiations with an African club.
The coach, interviewed by TMW Radiospoke about the rumours of a possible move to Taranto: “This is gossip news (laughs). No, I haven’t received any calls. I have a great relationship with Lucchesi, but I’m in touch for other things. It’s a place that I would accept anyway. Now I’m in contact with an African team and I’m waiting for a plane ticket. But if Taranto were to arrive now I would accept their offer”.
