Bruno Fernandes Renews Contract with Manchester United: “The Best is Yet to Come”

Manchester United lock down their captain. Bruno Fernandes has renewed his contract until June 30, 2027; the Portuguese attacking midfielder has scored 79 goals and provided 67 assists in his 234 appearances for the team and now he wants to increase this tally by winning more trophies.

These are the statements of the former Sporting, Udinese, Sampdoria and Novara player: “Everyone knows the passion I have for Manchester United. I understand the responsibility and importance of wearing this shirt, I know the dedication required to represent this incredible club. I have already experienced so many special moments here; hearing my name sung from the Stretford End, scoring a hat-trick against Leeds, leading the team at Old Trafford on European nights and lifting trophies at Wembley. But I wouldn’t have signed this contract if I didn’t believe my best moments in a United shirt are yet to come.

From my discussions with the management and the coach it is clear how determined everyone is to fight for the biggest trophies in the years to come. I am confident that things will go well in the future and I enjoy the responsibility of leading the team.”
