Manchester United will soon announce their double move from Bayern Munich. Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui they are now effectively two new players of the Red Devils: the two defenders, as reported by Sky Sports UKhave recently completed their medical examinations and now we are only waiting for the official announcements.
De Ligt will cost United €50 million (£42.9 million), broken down as follows: €45 million of a fixed base plus €5 million in bonuses. For the full-back, the English will shell out €10 million plus bonuses. The player’s registration must be registered by midday on Thursday: only then will they be available for the first matchday of the Premier League, against Fulham, scheduled for Friday.
De Ligt spent two seasons at Bayern Munich – who had bought him from Juventus -, playing 73 games and scoring five goals. Erik ten Hag thus finds a player he knows very well: together they won an Eredivisie and enchanted European football by reaching the semi-final of the Champions League.
