The new goalkeeper of Venezia, Philip Stankovicwho arrived from Inter on loan with a right of redemption that could become an obligation upon reaching certain conditions, spoke briefly to the official website of his new club. These are his words: “Choosing Venezia was easy. When I came as an opponent last year, there was a great atmosphere in a stadium like the Penzo, and when I heard about Venezia’s interest I didn’t think twice. Having grown up in the Inter youth system, in the 21/22 season he moved to Volendam, making 64 appearances in two seasons with 12 clean sheets.
In the 23/24 season, Stankovic moved to Sampdoria, where he played 38 games and kept a clean sheet in 8 matches.
