Having grown up in the Inter youth system, in the 21/22 season he moved to Volendam, making 64 appearances in two seasons with 12 clean sheets.
In the 23/24 season, Stankovic moved to Sampdoria, where he played 38 games and kept a clean sheet in 8 matches.
