De Rossi to Corriere dello Sport on possible farewells: “I don’t tie anyone to Trigoria”

“I don’t tie anyone to Trigoria, whoever wants to leave is free to do so”. He begins like this Daniel DeRossi in the interview given to Sports Courierprobably referring to Paulo Dybala who currently has offers from Arabia. The coach then spoke more specifically about the squad and the market.

De Rossi, let’s start from the retreat. How did you see the group and the purchases?
“My attention is focused on the whole team, not just the new ones because here no one is left behind. The latest arrivals serve to complete this team that was already strong and that had a good championship last year and a good second half of the season from what I was able to evaluate. The squad needs to be strengthened because we need players who have the same quality as the starters, and this is happening. I am happy with the new ones, the old ones, with everyone. They have worked hard, we asked them to make a major effort between Trigoria and St. George Park and we are really happy”.

What are the next moves in the market?
“Now there are too many of us, thirty-one in fact. We know that there are players who will go and play, others who will leave the team, we are evaluating some of them as happens in any Serie A club. With thirty-one players you don’t work well: we will see if someone leaves and then we will focus on the income again”.
