Who is Bojan Miovski: from goals in Scotland to the possible role of Genoa’s new striker

Revolving doors in the attack of the Genoa in this market phase. Given that one between Gudmundsson and Retegui could leave Genoa, the rossoblù management is working to be ready with alternatives. Among these is Boyan Miovskia 1999-born striker playing for Aberdeen.

Beginnings at home and explosion in Scotland
Miovski grew up in Bregalnica Stip, reaching the first team where he made his debut in 2017. He was then sold to Rabotncki, who in turn loaned him for six months to Qarabag with whom he played in the Youth League. In the following years, the Macedonian striker continued to wander, wearing the shirts of Makedonija Gjorce Petrov and Renova. A first part of his career spent largely in his home country, to then be ready to play in other European championships.

His first experience away from Macedonia, except for the brief one at Qarabag, materializes in the 2020/21 season. Miovski goes to play in Hungary in the ranks of MTK Budapest: he stays there for two years, scores 19 goals in 60 games and enters the national team. He does even better in the following two years, when he decides to go to play in Scotland becoming the top scorer for Aberdeen (44 goals in 95 appearances).

Who is Bojan Miovski: role and characteristics
Miovski is a central striker by profession, but if necessary in his career he can also play in the offensive sector as a left winger. His physical structure and good sense of goal make him a profile that is coveted by several European clubs.

In addition to Genoa, there is Espanyol, who made an offer to Aberdeen of 3 million euros but received a negative response. The Griffins have not yet come forward but, in the event of Gudmundsson or Retegui’s departure, they would certainly not be slow to pounce on the Macedonian striker.
