Venice, a new striker is coming for Di Francesco. Raimondo is practically closed

A new offensive reinforcement is fast approaching for Eusebio Di Francesco and his Venezia.

As reported by Sky Sportsin fact, the lagoon people are about to get their hands on Anthony Raymond (20 years old), a young striker who was on loan to Ternana last year but whose contract is currently owned by Bologna. The deal for the arrival of the 2004-born striker is practically over, and he perfectly fits the identikit that Venezia was looking for, needing a younger striker who could work alongside the more experienced Pohjanpalo, who scored 23 goals in the last Serie B tournament.

Meanwhile in the last few days Venezia has extended the contract to its general staff, extending the existing agreements with the three main leaders: “Venezia FC is pleased to announce the contract renewal of Sporting Director and General Manager Filippo Antonelli. The 46-year-old has signed a multi-year contract that will bind him to the club until the end of the 2027/28 sports season. Venezia FC also announces the contract renewal of Technical Area Director Cristian Molinaro, who has signed a multi-year contract until the 2027/28 season. Finally, Isaac Guerrero, Technical Director and Head of Methodology of the Youth Sector of Venezia FC, has also extended his contract with Venezia FC until the end of the 2025/26 season, with an option for the 2026/27 season.”
