Retegui goes to Atalanta! Tomorrow medicals and signature: contract until June 30, 2028

All is defined for the transfer of Mateo Retegui from Genoa to Atalanta. This afternoon the two clubs finalized the agreement for the transfer of the ’99 striker to Bergamo thanks to an offer of 22 million euros. Retegui will begin his new adventure tomorrow: first the medical visits, then the signature on the contract that will last four years.

Retegui leaves Genoa a year after his arrival from Tigre for around 15 million euros. Last season he scored nine goals between Serie A and Coppa Italia in 31 games. With Italy he has four goals, the last two last March in the friendly test in the United States against Venezuela.

The purchase of Retegui comes the day after the official transfer of Hans Hateboer. Yesterday, Dea announced the transfer of the Dutch full-back to Rennes: “After seven and a half years, Hans Hateboer is leaving Atalanta. With a note on the official website, Dea announced the transfer of the Dutch full-back to France: “Atalanta BC announces that it has permanently sold to Stade Rennais FC the rights to the sports performances of the player Hans Hateboer, a 30-year-old Dutch right-back who has made a total of 245 appearances in all competitions in his seven and a half seasons with the Nerazzurri, culminating with the victory of the UEFA Europa League last May 22. The Percassi family, the Pagliuca family and the entire Club bid Hans farewell with affection and gratitude, wishing him the best of luck for the continuation of his sporting career”. Further details on the transfer then arrived from the Rennes press release: Hateboer has signed a two-year contract with the Breton club.
