Empoli continues its search for profiles to add to the midfield and thus offer new and multiple solutions that the new coach D’Aversa can draw on. Among these we told you a few days ago about a Czech solution, the one that can bring the multifaceted national Luke Provod (27 years old, pictured) playing in Serie A.
As learned from Tuttomercatoweb.com, in the last few days the negotiations between Empoli and Slavia Prague, who own his registration rights, have continuedbut it is not yet leading to a definitive outcome. There is an agreement between the parties regarding the transfer modality, with the Czechs who would also accept a onerous loan with a conditional obligation to buy (if the Tuscans are saved in Serie A) but what is missing is an agreement on the figures of the potential deal. Slavia is aiming to collect 7-8 million euros in total from the sale of Provod, in Empoli’s ideas it is complicated to get above 5. They need to get a little closer to be able to reach a conclusion.
Provod’s name, however, is not the only one in the mix as a potential new midfield addition for Inter. In fact, we told you about the deal that is being made with Sampdoria to bring Ronaldo Vieira to Castellani and to have the young defender Guarino take the opposite path, there is also the former Roma player Diawara of Anderlecht on the list and in the last few hours Toma Basic, leaving Lazio, has also been added as a candidate.
