Bari’s lightning operation. Valerio Mantovani arrives on loan from Ascoli

Official

SSC Bari announces that it has acquired from Ascoli Calcio, on a temporary basis, the rights to the sporting performances of the footballer Valerio Mantovani (Rome, 18.04.96); the defender reached the capital of Puglia in the afternoon to join the red and white group and make himself available to mister Longo.

A native of the capital, he joined Roma’s youth sector at just 10 years old, wearing the yellow and red until 2013. He then moved to Torino’s Primavera team, with whom he won a Scudetto and a Super Cup in the category with mister Longo on the bench. He made his professional debut with Salernitana in 2016: with the Campania team he played 84 games in Serie B. In the ’21-’22 season he was loaned to Alessandria (22 appearances, 1 goal) where he crossed paths again with the biancorosso coach. From ’22 to January ’24 he played 46 games, always in Serie B, with Ternana, closing the second part of last season with Ascoli (16 appearances, 1 goal, 1 assist).

Welcome Valerio!
