Fiorentina is very close to purchasing Albert Gudmundsson from Genoa. According to what was gathered by the editorial staff of TMW, the parties are one step away from an agreement, with the Viola club having changed their offer by increasing the loan base. The latest proposal from the Lilies is for 7 million euros for the onerous loan, which the Grifone would therefore collect immediately, to which would then be added the obligation to redeem, for a final figure that still remains around 25 million euros.
Waiting for the response.
At this point the ball is back in Genoa’s court, who after having rejected the Viola’s offer in the last days of the January transfer window are now close to saying yes. The Grifone will ask Fiorentina for a final push, but everything suggests that the deal will be closed in the next few hours. The Viola club will thus close the purchase of the Icelandic striker, before the probable sale of Nico Gonzalez, who will have his meeting with the club tomorrow and who remains contested between Atalanta and Juventus, ready to battle it out over the next few days to get both Fiorentina and the Argentine to say yes.
The Genoa market.
Gilardino meanwhile asked his company to make an effort to reach Arkadiusz Milikcentre forward of the Polish national team leaving Juventus, by far preferred to M’Bala Nzola in the eyes of the mister. Other names in the mix are those of Remi Oudin (for which 2.5 million euros were offered to Lecce) and another Juventus player like Tarek Muharemovicthe latter however playing for the Under 23s. Genoa is also looking for a left winger in defence.
