Brazilian defender Gleison Bremer Silva Nascimento is ready to formalize a new contract renewal with Juventus. According to what our editorial team has gathered, an agreement is coming between the black and white club and the South American centre-back for a new contract valid until 30 June 2029, one year more than the current agreement.
Juventus and Bremer will sign a new agreement less than a year after the last contract renewal. In this new contract, the termination clause will be further raised, a figure above 60 million euros.
Former midfielder Hernanes spoke in recent days about Juventus becoming increasingly Brazilian and consequently also about Bremer: “Juventus has a roster of good players and by adding some ideal pieces for Thiago Motta’s game like Douglas Luiz it will certainly be easier to implement his new idea of football right away. Thiago’s teams, as we saw last year in Bologna’s Champions League run, like to have the ball and command the play and the game. Douglas Luiz will be fundamental from this point of view, he will be the brain and the director of the new Juventus”.
Bremer is increasingly a Brazilian-Italian in his way of playing and especially in marking: does he see his former teammate Chiellini in Gleison?
“I don’t know if Bremer will become Giorgio’s heir. Gleison is tough and reactive in marking and in this aspect he reminds one of Chiellini.”
