“Interesting guys have arrived and I hope that a combative and annoying team will be born like every year”. This is what Cittadella’s general manager, Stefano Marchetti, told TuttoMercatoWeb.com.
How will you continue to move on the market?
“We’ll have to do some outings, there are a lot of us. And then I’d like to complete something else.”
What role are you applying for next season?
“I would like to maintain the profile of a tough team, difficult to meet. Then the path will tell us where we can get to”.
We start again from Gorini.
“We have always been for continuity. Convinced that the coach is ready to play a leading role in the championship.”
What kind of market has it been so far?
“It seems like a slow market to me. Very tangled. I see Italian football in quite a crisis, on an economic and sporting level”.
The National team of the future is struggling to find Italian strikers. The sporting difficulties are evident.
“It’s a time when we need to think carefully about where we want to go. We are in difficulty on many levels.”
The deal in B that you liked the most?
“Big teams make sensational moves. I think of Coda and Tutino, whoever takes them can afford them and wants to win. There are few forwards and those few are pure gold. However, I prefer the market of unknowns who then become protagonists. I hope that here in Cittadella some good players can be born for the future”.
Market men: Pandolfi and Carissoni are sought after.
“Pandolfi is in the best place to make the leap in quality: Cittadella is a very important place for him. Carissoni has a market but Cittadella wants to keep the good players. Then they do the market… the market, the requests and so on. Certain players, if they want to put their growth at the center of their technical project, must stay here”.
